The School of Dialogue of Faith Church of Canada

Dialogue of Faith Church of Canada is a chartered, charitable Christian organization empowered to operate church, deliver Christian education through a school, and to issue tax receipts for legitimate, financial contributions. It was founded in the year, 2005 in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada by Rev. Dr. Ronald E.A.Blake, inspired by a request from a young Christian, Mercedes Blackwood.

The Goal of the courses

The goal of the Dialogue of Faith training is to prepare Christian believers worldwide to live fulfilling and victorious Christian lives by completing bible courses that provide both practical and revelatory application of scripture. The lessons will enable the student to arrive at a detailed discovery of what it means to be a follower of Christ as well as enable that person to understand and assume the responsibilities that go with that decision.

Format of courses

The courses are delivered by means of a highly interactive forum that enables the student to explore scripture by examining and adopting new and courageous approaches to spiritual inquiry. Students will learn in a prayerful, non-conflicting atmosphere that both fosters and encourages questions pertaining to their Christian faith and practice. Course lengths (number of hours) will vary with subject. The student will attend lectures, research various topics, discuss issues of faith and write papers connecting belief with conduct.

Certification

Upon completion of a course, the candidate will have attained a clear, lay person’s understanding of what is required of a Christian to pactise the faith successfully and satisfyingly. In addition, the candidate will have acquired some effective, practical tools for pursuing a three- way relationship with God the Father, Jesus Christ his Son, and the Holy Spirit. Candidates who complete a course successfully will be recognized by a course completion certificate (or credit where applicable).

Admission requirements

The lay courses are opened to any responsible person who is able to hear or to read the language in which the course is being offered and whose motive is to develop strength, competence and effectiveness in the living and sharing of the Christian message. Where we offer credit courses we will place a notice of any special admission requirement.
